I Velvet Revolver si formano nel 2003, fanno parte del gruppo 3 ex Guns N' Roses, Slash, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum e l'ex chitarrista dei Wasted Youth, Dave Kushner. Al momento sono alla ricerca del nuovo cantante dopo l'abbandono di Scott Weiland, che si e' ricongiunto al suo gruppo storico, gli Stone Temple Pilots.
All'attivo hanno 2 album, Contraband (2004) e Libertad (2007).
