About Me
Tone & 4etski, today better known as the Bumperboys (or, if you prefer, the Bumperknights) met each other at quite a very bumpin' occasion indeed. It was on a sweaty Touché and Food collaborated night in Leuven with No Assembly Firm's Dan X behind the decks that Touché Gratts' came to the conclusion that both Tone and 4etski lived in the surroundings of Dendermonde. Although the difference between the two is distinct - 4etski is ten years older than Tone, and, hell, he's from Holland ! - their apparent love for bumpin' house music was stronger than anything. From here, their mutual love for the bump grew, and only a dozen of days later, they tag-teamed behind the decks on what would be the very first Bumper party at P&B's in Dendermonde.
These Bumpernights soon became a resort for plenty of lovers of the bumpin' house music sounds. While they might differ ten years in age and have a problematic nationality schedule, Tone & 4etski managed to prove they get along and - more importantly - play along just fine.
In the meantime, deejays like Bugsy & Jensen, Arcana, Gratts & Igwaar but also deejays from abroad like Slater Hogan, the Fraidso guys and John Larner paid the Bumpernights a visit, doing what they do best: set up a rocking example of what the trademark bumpin' house sound is all about.
With the phenomenon being house music disappearing in the underground to return to the upperground again the week after, the Belgian house scene is a little family like any other music scene. The Bumperboys have gained their place in there and a solid reputation too, getting gigs ranging from dirty and sweaty home parties to bigger bumpfests alike, from Leuven to Ghent, from Dendermonde to Bruges and back. And, mind you, the guys show no signs of slowing down the pace. Get ready to be Bumpered, and if you don't know what we mean, just check out the bumpsite at www.bumpernights.com
