My name is Sam Dalton. I’m the worship leader at Calvary Chapel of Victorville. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 10 years old. Playing in bands since I was 15. And playing in worship teams since I was 18.
Musical influences are many, but I’ll give you some of my favorites. The Beatles, The Eagles, Neil Young, Gram Parsons, Steve Miller. Worship influences - Matt Redman, Delirious?, Hanz Ives, Dave Morrow, and early Maranatha.
Been married 29 years to the most beautiful woman in the world. Never been the same since I saw her smile at me in Sunday School - January of 1980. Have 3 beautiful children, 2 wonderful kids-in-laws, and 4 beautiful grandchildren!
The greatest thing I could tell you is that Jesus loves you. If you already know this and are walking with Him, you need to stay on the narrow path. It’s not good enough to know, you have to live it every day. If you don’t know this, you need to come to know Jesus as Savior. He loves you and gave Himself for you and me so that we could have eternal life. If I could encourage you, remember Ephesians 5:15-21, Hebrews 10:25, and Romans 12:1-2. I play Fender guitars - strat and tele, Gibson Les Paul, Martin D-28, and amplify it with a Fender Deville single 12.
