My name is Dennis. I am 20, and my birthday is June 22. I have 7 brothers and 3 sisters, and I am the middle child. I am an soon to be Junior at Oral Robert's University, and am majoring in computer engineering. I hope that I do not fit the mold of what others would consider the typical engineer, but I know that sooner or later, whether by choice or an act of God, I will be just like the rest of them. I have been creeped out recently (and by recently I mean this last school year) about how much my thought process has changed, but at the same time, I have been amazed with what an engineer is capable of doing. Through great teachers like Dr. Halsmer and Dr. Lang, I have learned so much, and have gained a greater appreciation for mathematics and physics. My love for math had been extinguished in high school because it had become boring, but in my last 2 semesters at ORU, that flame has been reborn, and I am once again fully excited about what math is capable of doing. I don't wish to sound like a geek, but to deny who I am, and what interests me would be wrong. And to wrap this all up, I am looking forward to all that God has planned for me, and cannot wait for the brand new school year to begin.
