Follow the formula: get to the “hook†within the first thirty seconds while maintaining a sellable storyline for the perfect time of three minutes and twenty-eight seconds. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with a good pop song. It’s just this generation does not want to hear anymore fluff. Our generation wants to see and hear something real – something genuine. We believe that real truth is found within scripture. With Every Light was created after noticing this common theme within several lengthy conversations about our generation. Our generation seems to be a lot like us. Raised in the church…excited about God in our youth…then, over some time, we’re off to the daily grind to seek out the American dream. Somewhere within this fast moving, self-serving culture we lose our perspective for what is truly important. We do not want to lose perspective anymore. We believe there is nothing more important than loving God and enjoying Him. Our hope is to encourage people. Our hope is to be encouraged.
