About Me

This is the myspace of Zachary Pettigrew. In certain publications, social circles, holding pens, fake IDs, and children's partys he has been given the psuedoname, "Zacharias". He is a professional Artist/Illustrator, student, cynic and flight medic. Despite the above interests, and above all else, Zach is an Artist (what that really is as "artist" proper - due to the ambiguity of the art world today - the narrator does not know or care). In much of his work, he tries to combine an accurate, technical skill level with a deep welling of inspirational, emovtive energy, in order to actively seek out and intellectually engage his viewers. He lives only for that sole, euphoric moment of creation that comes with a completed work. Therefore, any advice, support ($) or encouragement you could give would be much appreciated. Merely taking time to look at the work howerer, is all that he asks. You can go to WWW.HARCHETYPE.COM , to see some of his work, preview below, or even buy prints/posters of his art HERE! ... that is, if you like it. If you don't... then you should yell at him, and throw vegetables. Tell him how he sucks and should stop polluting the world with complicated, cerebral gibberish by e-mail or myspace message.Zachary is always hard at work making a graphic novel titled "Dystopia" and other crazy things like this: Please send all ART inquiries to [email protected] does all that visual hog-wash, yes. But he is also a human person with many other positive, and not-so positive (really not so positive, in fact pathetic and sad) qualities. He is 24 years old but is really much older (it is rumored that he may be living in dog years... mentally at least). He is a college student and goes to a school called the "University of South Florida". Most of the time he can be found studying Chemistry (BS) or doing Art (BFA). He likes women (with vaginas). He loves both science and art equally and is currently racking his brain to figure out which direction to run toward more forcefully. He is good at both - better at art. Zach either wants to be a Neuroscientist and/or a prolific visual artist. Or better yet, both. This takes much work, time and effort. So, because of his overt optimism and drive, he does not have alot of time to play video games, watch television, fondle himself, go to church, or cook. This is unfortunate, because it robs him of the "American Dream" that we are conditioned to strive toward in our short lives - a normal, cookie-cutter lifestyle. mmmm, cookies. Zachary likes to swim, trains in Muay Thai and Brazlian Jiu-Jitsu. He also likes balloons, happy faces, japanese people, cake and the wonder of human experience. He also likes breaking stuff. But then again, who doesn't? He has a website with some of his silly pictures that have the ability to move the human spirit in ways never before possible. Visit www.Harchetype.com. He is good with things of a visual nature.Doing any of the above stated has been proven in longitudinal studies, to be more fullfilling and much more of a positive impact on a persons life than watching TV, smoking pot, or reading ANY book that is recommended by Oprah.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
