About Me

DAYFEED SAYS GOODBYE.
Hello everyone. It is with some sadness that we inform you all that Dayfeed is no longer a band. There is no drama between us, no hard feelings, or anything of that nature. We are still friends and will continue to be. We had been in the process of writing new music and it became clear that our paths were destined for different things. So with that said, we’d like to thank everyone who ever came to a show, bought a cd or shirt, put up flyers, helped with gear, or supported us in any other type of way. You’re the best, keep in touch. Thanks again,Eric, Eric, Chad, Andy
We will still have T Shirts and CD's available if anyone wants one.

Review of the Beauty in the Breakdown EP from Smother.net:
Secretly Drowning singer Eric Malmberg and 2 Ton Crutch guitarist Eric Marsh met at the suggestion of producer Matt Kirkwold and formed Dayfeed along with the drummer from Dodd. After a few lineup changes the band recorded their debut Beauty In the Breakdown and enlisted the producer that got everything started to record the album. The resulting emotional rawness that emanates is a telltale sign of the brisk cold Minnesota area that they call home. But the sound isnt a barren wastebucket of cold rock veinstheres plenty of warmth in the well tuned vocal arrangements. Dayfeed is another brilliant hard rock band that Midwest Movement proudly calls one of their own.- J-Sin
