Bee Keeper started out as a joke by Elsa.
She did a fanzine called Icecreamstar and she had her bedroom band Little (with Paulo from Radioactive Man).
It seemed fun to start a catalogue so Elsa suddenly had an idea, asking the bands she liked to give her tapes of their recorded stuff so as to compile a 30 or 60 minute tape ready to be released and properly distributed inside a nice photo copied sleeve. And Elsa had some possible names to use whenever possibly needed. And one of them was Bee Keeper.
And so she did it. Each release is a bee. And a bee can be(e) whatever you want it to be, a stingy furious fat flying bug, a busy honeymaker sicklysweet as fuck or your own band.
Talking in your sleep is not enough to make you famous, my friend!
Bee Keeper is about making things happen and about making music fly as far as you want it to go. Against boredom, inercia and foolish jealous competition. Bee Keeper defend a spirit of cooperation between everyone who care. You can do it if you really wanna do it. Make your little riot happen and do it yourself.
