i tend to veer towards music of the african tradition...jazz, hiphop, neo-soul, r&b, drums, etc...i also can't forget my lovely latin brothers&sisters...salsa, merengue, bachata, etc...i like things that challenge norms and things that are heartfelt...
with movies...
i need something that will make me laugh, cry, or think...

that goes outside the box...that challenges norms...my preferences tend to veer towards music out of the african tradition....drums,jazz, blues, funk, soul, gospel, hip hop.....i need something heart felt....i need to be inspired/challenged/convicted mentally/artistically/spiritually....a good beat is always a plus...(and of course club music ;-p...i mean really..lol)im really feelin that neo-soul right now...get me jill, amel, alicia, leela, vivian, angie...(the list goes on and on) any day! :-)OH! and don't let me forget any of my lovely latin brothers and sisters....turn up the salsa, mambo, bachata, merengue!!!!!!....and yes a lil reggaeton everyonce and again
almost everything but scary movies....i LOVE action and thriller movies....my top movies though include The Lion King, Hotel Rwanda, The Interpreter, Sarafina!, Sister Act 2, the first Matrix, and Pride and Prejudice
gave up on TV this semester...but Law and Order and CSI is the truth...Alias back in the day...Boondocks is also hilarious whenever i catch it

any normal person who stands up for what they believe in and make it a point to live in order to change someones life for the better....mothers...fathers....the Rosa Parks in this world...the aspiring Malcolm X's, Martin Luther King's, Harriet Tubman's and Nzingah's of our generation and those before us
