In the United States, in cities, in communities, in our neighborhoods, right under our noses, a needy child goes to sleep hungry, lonely and without the basic foundation of a family support system. In fact, there are more than 80,000 parentless and homeless children within fifty miles of Los Angeles that need our help. Safety Harbor Kids is a nonprofit dedicated to providing support, education and guidance to these local children in need helping them break the vicious cycle of homelessness, poverty and prison.Through local ongoing community events and activities, Safety Harbor Kids creates an enriching environment for children to learn and grow by receiving mentoring and support from community members. Essentially, we build an enduring support system for children in need through philanthropy, community spirit, educational tools and family values.Our Vision is to create centers of influence for orphans and children in need and build an arts and education center for future generations.
Our Purpose is to provide children with the guidance, knowledge, love and support needed to help them realize their individual potentials.

Through music and the arts, wilderness and leadership, college and career development and health and happiness activities, we provide children with the tools to help them realize their full potential.
