We love music. We love the opportunity to be creative while working hard with the goal of creating an end-product that is competitive with anything out there. Crunch Factory is a new, independent record label with a growing roster of original, fresh talent. Crunch Factory is an Austin, Texas based record label, with releases that include the Trash Rock Kings, Thunder Chiefs, Subterannia and more. We are open minded and while we primarily support Texas music, location is of little importance; good music is what we're after, and if it's a good fit, we want it.
When fans of good music go looking for killer music, from flat out nitro burning rock to rip roaring blues rock, we want them to think of Crunch Factory as the place they can find it. Trust me, it won't be Sony-BMG, Capitol, Geffen or anyone of those. They can have the "American Idol" crowd, we were trying to weed them out anyway. lol...
We strive to be “home†to our artists, where they can learn and grow and people they can depend on. A place where the label and the artists look out for each other and work together. Superb artists shouldn't have to starve to make great music. They should also be able to make a living.
It's obviously not that easy though.
While we’re not afraid to take chances, and look for artists that share our philosophy, we have to be realistic. This is a tough business. Our approach to each artists career and recording is strategic, with full involvement of the artist. We look at all aspects of an artist and their branding and identity.
We sign, mix, record and listen to a very wide variety of independent music and most importantly, we understand musicians, know what they want and need, and most importantly, recognize that without them, there is no music.
