I like the outdoors, history; into anthropology, politics, porn, the gym, kayaking . . . loyal to the art-architecture-fashion triumvirate. Fan of good taxidermy and good food (in moderation), though I can respect the vegan/vegetarian/lacto-octo-whatevas of the world. I can like to cook when necessary, reading when I get the opportunity. I'm a magazine addict. I enjoy a strong Roman Coke after a hard day of "work" (Brugal motherfuckers!). . . Gin, Scotch, Vodka. . . well, all hard liquor and most wine, no beer. Does that make me an alcoholic? Lets just say the jury is still out. ;) I heart chocolate, dark prefered, marzipan a plus. If your canday has corn syrup I will most likely turn it down (or eat it only to be polite, then resent you afterwards). I ain't no cohrn-fed mo-fo. I'm left of center with nothing but a cadre of die-hard Republicans friends to count on, not to forget one ex-Reagan State department apparatchik/lobbyist (you know who you are). GO GOP! Well-heeled WASPs of the world unite!!! Well, actually, I don't have too many friends. . . quality not quantity right? Are you surprised? I have an Esby too. . . Should one count the help?
Let's see, I'd like to meet. . . eccentric types, aesthetes of all kinds.
Very eclectic, lots of "world" (though I oppose the term), Hip-Hop, old folk, field recordings, gospel, klezmer, some alterna-crap, Electroclash (over already, yes, I know). I'm a hippy with short hair (and without all the crazy acid trip flash backs), oh, and a fag, that might explain . . . Maybe this would work best: http://www.netflix.com/MoviesYouveSeen?lnkctr=yadb_ratinghis tory_ratingheader
I don't currently own a TV. I used to like the Simpsons, World Link, The BBC, The Sundance Channel and the IFC.
Ah Books. . . now with your evil twin "Magazines", plotting my downfall. I have two large storage crates filled with thousands of amazing books molding in a dark and humid storage locker deep in the heart of Texas. Anyone interested in a library? Hmm. . . I've always been fond of Phaidon, Taschen, and Konneman publishers, Assouline on occassion. Visionnaire, technically a magazine, is always nice when you can afford it. Too many to list sadly.
My dog Oscar. . . I love you Krofe Loafer. I wish I were home to heal your wounds. You are me and I you, only with more hair and much cuter.
