Poetic Intervention

Ms J Flow, is a conscious poet from the Midlands. Hit with the writing bug in 06, being able to write lyrics was a hidden treasure within her. Upon this truth the revelation was revealed which lead her to write songs for local bands and co write with producers, In the summer of 07, Ms J Flow was looking for another outlet to express herself, this took her from behind the scenes, straight to the stage where she got to express the emotions behind her lyrics. Knowing how potent lyrics can over throw truths, Ms J uses her lyrics to enlighten and reveal concrete visions while inspiring a sense of mystery. With her passion in writing songs and writing poetry another revelation was revealed, which lead her to start her own spoken word band. Poetic Intervention was born.Poetic Intervention is a 4 piece conscious spoken words band which consist of a poet, sax player, drummer and bass/keys player. With two key goals in mind, to inspire & enlighten, these four creative souls got to work on there first spoken words collection, Listen Between The Lines. The collection has a strong energetic funk, jazz fusion feel to it, which is complemented by words of wisdom and inspiration. Listen Between The Lines., offers food for thought to the searcher. Poetic Intervention, wants to connect with as many people as possible, and would love the opportunity to perform at as many different and diverse,events,gigs festivals etc.
