Something is a brewing in Portland, Or. It's a new breed of hard rock. How long has it been since you have heard something that does not have a bunch of yelling, break downs, blast beats, ect, ect? We are pretty sure it's been a long ass time!So, here is Ditch Digger. A band that uses the "Cut out the fat" approach to hard rock and metal. A band that wants to bring the "old school" back and make it "new school" again. Such as..... Playing house parties, Giving tunes away for self whoring, postering the town with their own gig posters, and bring back the "Community" in rock community.This band, as a whole, started in June of '08 based on a few songs that Ian (Vocals) and his long time jam buddy Creamed Corn wrote a few years back. With the additions of Rollin' J on bass, Stixon on drums, Keith and Stone on guitars (The later three used to play in Portland's hard core kings PROVEN), Ditch Digger is going to do what you would not expect in this over saturated "Metal" scene!Ditch Digger wants to show you what's missing in today's rock. Ditch Digger is not here to compete, out scream, out makeup, out solo, or out haircut the next band. Ditch Digger was put together to play music everyone can drink, smoke, fuck, and jam to. They are in this for the love of music. Not the rewards and pats on the back that come with it.
