Tyler Hooper

The is name Tyler Hooper. "Music is my life." My whole family has been in the music business for over 75 years! So I guess you can say I was born into it. Well first off, I started playing drums at the age of 4. I've never had a lesson a day in my life. I just watch and learn. I've been playing goin on 17 years now and I love every minute of it. I started out, about like everyone else does. Churches, Backporches, ya know the rest! We had a family quartet and toured the southeast in southern gospel music. I appeared on stage with our family group for the first time at the age of 5.. And been wide open ever since. My parents and grandparents always had Jones, Haggard,Alabama, Strait, etc.. playing at all times, and especially The Grand Ole' Opry. They couldn't get me away from it now. lol! Years down the road I grew greater interest in country music.. For the past several years I've had the honors of being introduced to artists/musicians like John Rich, Charlie P., Deirks Bentley, Lee Brice, Tom Killen, James Mitchell, James Curtis, Mike Johnson, etc.. The list goes on and on. Since then I picked up a old "Dove" Gibson Flat top and began teaching myself how to play guitar.. I've been playing guitar for about 1 year now.. Anything else..
