Thank you for checking out my page I am Poppin Joe aka Joseph Muniz. I am someone who has a big heart and loves life I love people but do not take my kindess for weakness. To me family and real friends are very important if you dont have family and real friends in your life you aint got nothing. I am blessed to have my family I am vey grateful for my family I thank GOD for my family. I have a wonderful God Daughter Alex she is also my niece who I love very much. I am very grateful for my friends and I thank GOD for all my friends in my life. The time is now to start makeing moves and makeing things happen in El Paso and with the hip hop community. We must work together in bringing that UNITY AND helping the HIP HOP/FUNKSTYLES CULTURE GROW. We the older ones and the more expercinced must work with the youth and teach and guide the youth,we can not turn our backs on the youth,they are the future and the future of hip hop and funstyles. I am very proud to be a part of the crews and groups and events I work with and affilated with. Sun City Floor Rockerz,LEAD,Pharoz of Phunk,Rock Non Stop,Sugar For Your Soul,Street Rhythms,Miner Mayhem,First Come First Served. I am all about giving back to what has giving me so much. I am all about working with people to make things happen. I love hip hop it has saved my life and it has help me to become a better person. If it was not for hip hop I know I would probably be dead or a very unhappy person. Through hip hop I found poppin aka funkstyles witch also consist of locking. Know that poppin and locking are completey two different kinds of dances. Know that also there are several types of styles of poppin. I love it, funkstyles I have been doing it since 1996 I am still a student I will always be a student of the dance and of hip hop. I love to learn about hip hop and I love to share my knowledge and passion with others. I have a lot of respect for b-boys it is because watching b-boying when I was a kid is how I got introduce to hip hop. I live and breath hip hop culture everyday I thank GOD for it I am blessed to be a part of something so unique and different. I pay mad respects to all the OG'S from the early 70's unitil the early 80's that started this culture HIP HOP and Funkstyles. I have a lot of respect for all the street dancers that hold it down world wide Poppers,B-boys,B-girls,Lockers lets keep doing it and keep it alive. I love working with and teaching,guideing younger upcoming poppers and b-boys. I am about unity and working with others to help hip hop grow. I am especially down to work with others in El Paso,TX to help it grow in the Sun City. So be on the lookout for more events to happen in El Paso,TX they are going to happen. People do not be affraid to be you, be yourself do not be a follower. I can not stand fake people and those who want to be like everyone else be yourself. I love to laugh and have a good time I love chillin with my friends and family. I love to practice so if your down to session get at me. I do lack patience so I am working on it. People wake up be aware of what is going on around you and around the world do not trust our so called government. The government is mad curupt. People should not be affraid of there government the government should be affraid of there people.... Mad love and respect to my homie Sic Rik R.I.P he was an inspiration to me and so many others,he was hip hop,he is the one who gave me my name Poppin Joe and he got me back into the scene over 4 years ago because of Sik Rik I have made so many friends and I have done so much with danceing and with the community in El Paso and with the hip hop community I thank GOD for that.
