Born to Southern upbringing, lead by a Northern swag, K’Loni Sky has risen above expectations. As a singer, song writer and promotional model, this future R&B superstar is always willing to go the extra mile. She is full of life, sassy and down to earth. It's no wonder she is making heads turn, mouths drop and hearts beat faster. K'Loni Sky will keep you on the edge of your seats with her sweet and sultry sound, real life song lyrics and inviting smile. She has a deep passion to connect with people of all backgrounds through her music. When asked about her feelings towards music she simply replied "As long as I live Music will always be my first real love".Since childhood, K'Loni Sky has always held a deep passion for dance, singing, writing, and performing. In grade school she auditioned and made it for the Newton, Mass “All City Chorus” and was nominated to attend Tanglewood Performance Art Camp. In fact her voice, dance and presence were felt so much Tanglewood asked her to come back and be a camp counselor. Later in high school, working closely with Boston’s best choreographer Wyatt Jackson, taught her how to perform and to bring forth the best presentation. She has danced in numerous of shows one of which was performed in front of the most highly respected dancer “Debbie Allen”. Mrs. Debbie Allen was blown away by K’Loni Sky’s energy and dance abilities; Mrs. Allen even got on stage to dance beside her. As a high school step captain, K’Loni Sky demonstrated her strong leadership experience in choreography and team management. She even taught step to an adolescent group at Morning Star Baptist Church and formed an all girls step group in the urban area of Boston. After high school she joined “All God’s Children” choir at Morning Star Baptist Church where she sang soprano and entertained the church goers with energy and smiles.In 2001 K’Loni Sky began promotional modeling for agencies throughout the US such as Candy Ford of Ford Management Group, Ahead of the Pace, ASAP Models, EModel, Productions Plus and recently collaborated with Goodz Entertainment. Renegade Marketing Group, KMX, Pontiac Vibe, Tweeter Center, L’Oreal, Speed Stick, Tropicana, Bride Magazine, and SIMON special mall events are some of the companies K’Loni Sky represented while promoting. Quincy College, in Quincy Mass, also took the opportunity to use K’Loni Sky in their advertising campaign, posting billboards throughout Boston and surrounding areas as well as AMC movie theater pre-shows. She was even hired as a modeling instructor for Barbizon Modeling and John Casablanca Modeling. Recently she has been pursued by Heart and Soul Enterprises of Massachusetts. Her promotional and advertising experiences only highlight K’Loni Sky’s ability to effectively relate to others in a professional manner.On a recent musical note, K’Loni Sky enjoys giving her listeners her deepest feelings and closest moments in life through her music and performances. She continues to write music that relates to life and all its experiences that come with it. Many have started to compare K’Loni Sky’s style to many great artists in the industry. They have compared her singing style to Mary J. Blidge and Keisha Cole and compared her voice to Monica, Brandy and group members from Cherish. K’Loni Sky is greatly appreciative to those that have paved the way for her to be successful in music today and feels honored to be placed in the same genre as those great singers mentioned above.If there’s one word to describe K’Loni Sky it would be AMIBITOUS. She is definitely a “GO GETTER”! Without a doubt this is one of the hardest working independent singer and song writers of her time. The proof of her hard work is in the consistency of her lyrical ingeniousness, writing hooks for local artists and producers, even extending that talent over seas to artists in London and Germany. Recently she has showcased her talents in live performances at The Western Front in Cambridge, Mass, Tigers Den in Brockton, Mass and BNN in Roxbury, Mass. She was also chosen to compete in round nine of the 50 Mics Tournament in New York City.To further extend her credentials, K’Loni Sky recently graduated Cum Laude with an Associates Degree in Business Management. And, she continues to further her education, anticipating a 2009 graduation celebration for earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Her goal is to earn a Masters Degree in Management by early 2011. K’Loni Sky feels education is a driving force to her success in life and business. Thus saying she has also invested in other educational outlets, taking performance workshops, vocal lessons, audio engineering, team management workshops and John Casablanca Modeling Career Center. Her love for bettering herself and those around her is evident and shines through all she comes in contact with.Above all K'Loni Sky thanks God for all he has placed before her, trials and triumphs. She is willing and ready to push herself to the very limit to continue successes in life.
