About Me

Hey. My name is Crystal but you probably call me Crys or Christy. I live in good old Homestead. Lol. I have a wonderful family who aren't at all ordinary. My friends rock, bottom line, end of story. I wish everyone cared. I have learned that the past can't be lived again because even pictures fade. I was born in Colorado. I am going to be a paramedic but I would also love to be a pilot. I wish that life could be lived without tears. My favorite songs are Imagine by John Lennon, Superman by Five For Fighting, and Against The Odds by Phil Collins. I hope that I am ready for whatever life throws my way. My religion is Wicca, but I go to church every Sunday. You might call me shy but I call it being me:) I try to be the best person I can be but I still pray everyday that I wake up an even better person. I completely support anything that benefits another person. I have a horrible habit of not calling people back, and it's not because I don't want to talk to you. I am anti-war. I laugh a lot...sometimes too much. I am a proud American but I am also proud of my heritage. I love when it rains. I try to be a perfectionist but I have learned that only God is perfect. My Interests

I love army and military movies, paint-balling, acting, and the Discovery Health channel. My favorite flowers are violets (*coughs, not roses*), I like to do new things. In the future I want to visit Austrailia, learn how to surf (even though I'm terrified of sharks!), and I want to someday establish a charity for children with special needs.

I'd like to meet:

There are a lot of people I would like to meet. Some of them are no longer living but I would have loved to meet them. Amelia Earhart, Audrey Hepburn, Phil Collins, Eric Clapton, Charles Lindburgh, Robert Frost, Orville and Wilbur Wright, Angelina Jolie, and Matt Damon are just a few. I also like meeting soilders that are fighting in Iraq, because thats an issue that I take very seriously. The Addams Family (lol, its an inside joke). Who knows, I might want to meet you.

Music:

I listen to a little bit of everything. My favorite is country and rock. Some artists that I really like are Fuel, John Lennon, The Beach Boys, Eric Clapton, Train, Mudvayne, Switchfoot, Carrie Underwood, Prince, Phil Collins, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Howie Day, Britney Spears, Keith Urban, Chuck Wicks, and a lot of others:)

Movies:

My favorite type of movies are military based movies, action, drama, and a little horror! My favorite are: Saving Private Ryan, Pay It Forwrd, Remember The Titans, Somethings Gotta Give, Gridiron Gang, Black Hawk Down, Pride and Predjudice, Jarhead, A Walk to Remember, Radio, The Ring, ElizabethTown, all three Spiderman movies, The Corpse Bride, Charlotte's Web, Ever After, The Wickerman, all of the Harry Potter movies, IRobot, Hitch, Pirates of the Carribean trilogy, End Of The Spear, and Shindler's List.

Television:

I watch a lot of shows on tv. My all-time favorites are American Idol, Dawson's Creek, ER, and Scrubs. I am a cartoon junkie also. Lol. I also like House, Charmed, Deliver Me, Law and Order SVU, Forensic Files, The Office, and Physic Detectives.

Books:

I like to read, so that's how I spend a lot of my free-time. I'm a big fan of Nicolas Spark's books ( he wrote the Notebook and A Walk to Remember). I adore Jane Austen's Pride and Predjuice. I love all of the Harry Potter books, and I also read a lot of history-related books ( hey, I know it sounds boring but they are actually really interesting!).

Heroes:

Amelia Earhart is my hero because she did what she loved even though being a pilot was considered a "man's job". Also, Anne Frank, Helen Keller, and Martin Luther King. They all defied the odds and made a diffrence in history and the world around us.
