The A-Z of Acid House is a definitive reference book documenting one of the most colourful periods in history since the hippies or punks of the 1970s. Acid House primarily covers the years of 1986 until 1990. The music was created by pioneering individuals in American States such as Chicago, New York or Detroit but it was Europe that fully embraced the sound. Ibiza, Britain, Holland, Germany and France were amongst the first European cities to enjoy Acid House music and the lifestyle that came with it.To ensure the authenticity of this encyclopedia we need the help of people like YOU. We are currently compiling the data for the 2008 Edition and 2012 Edition. To maintain an accurate record of those glorious life changing moments we feel it’s important that everyone gets involved in this project even if its just to Add one word.The 1st Edition will be launched with thousands of related entries compiled by Wayne Anthony and online members of the Acid House community. The work doesn’t end when the book is published that’s when the process reaches the next phase. It’s impossible for us to know everything about everything so reader’s interaction is critical for the most accurate record available. A dedicated website will be built to handle submissions from visitors wishing to add data which we may have overlooked. We openly encourage everyone to help make this the most authoritative reference book on the subject.Further editions will be made available in the future containing all vetted data obtained from our online requests.
