Hey hey I'm Abbie Rhode and I guess you could say I'm a pretty big deal! I was raised in the beautiful small town of Virginia City, Montana (population currently about 130) and still currently reside there. Being an only child in such a small community I had to often channel my creativity to entertain myself, and turned to music at an early age. I began writing songs at age ten and continued on to learn guitar at thirteen.
Five years later I am completely in love with the art of songwriting and spend what little free time I have with my best friend in the world, Keith, my Yamaha acoustic guitar that once rocked the 1970's. Keith has been a huge part of my family for the past two decades. He remained in my father's possession from the late 80's until he passed his legacy on to me in the year 2003.
My main range from country acts such as Rascal Flatts to even Broadway musicals. (Random fact: I was so inspired by the vivid imagery in Tim Burton's film version of Sweeney Todd, I wrote "Two Left Shoes" as soon as the movie was over. Weird huh?) Currently I owe my musical abilities to four lovely lads hailing from Liverpool! If it hadn't been for the Beatles' my music wouldn't be what it is today! Thanks for the inspiration fellas!
