Hedonists

In 1992 "Springa," from infamous hardcore outfit SSD and Chicago area staple Mike Meadows combined forces to create the Hedonists. The first release on Homestead records, the 7"Know Your Angers Name, was well-recieved by the record buying public. The follow-up release was a limited edition picture disc 7" featuring artwork by world renowned artist Coop was released on Amphetamine Reptile Records. It is still a collector's item (if you can afford it). With three album's worth of un-released material and four guitar players later, the band broke up in 1994.
...fast forward to 2008....
Back together and more fired up than ever, Springa and Mike are back together with a fierce new line-up featuring Ken and Andy from Chicago's underground of the underground, The Symptoms. Hungry for the road, the Hedonists are recording new material and looking to release older out of print and unreleased recordings and hit the road.

The movie American Hardcore is internationally acclaimed and features our very own Sringa in classic footage from SSDecontrol in their hey day; the widespread popularity of the dvd release is helping Springa reach a new generation of hardcore fans!
