About Me

Hello to those of you meeting me for the first time, and welcome to my friends who have ridden the storms with me and are back again. I have many different faces, but all reflect a part of me. To my daughters I am simply "mom", but to my credit my 5 year old thinks I'm fun and my 14 year old thinks I'm pretty cool. I am fun to be with, make people laugh, and care about the work I do and those whose lives are entrusted to my care. To my friends I am part silly forever teenager who still loves the same music and acts silly whenever possible. I love to laugh and have fun, but I'm willing to cry with you if that's what you need. I care deeply for my family and friends, and I am softer than the tough exterior gives away. I get hurt, but I have my sadness, fear, and pain hidden behind the smile and silliness you often see. I internalize more often then I vent. Look beyond the pictures of the gorgeous rock stars on the page and see the woman who has looked to their music for solace, inspiration, and peace in a world often gone mad. Read the blogs and you'll see me...listen to the music and see why they inspire me...hear the words....see what you feel...

The worst week ever....and a-ha...
