I like to play what I call 'Antique Blues', non-electrified, traditional, old time blues that you hear on scratchy old 78s. Any songs written past 1940 are not in my sets. I hope you enjoy my music.
My music career began in the Baptist church choir. As a teenager my brother and I sang in several rock bands. Later on we formed a band called Drivin' Wheel that lasted for several years. When the band went our seperate ways, I tried on several musical hats. I played folk and country for a long time, but was never satisfied with those genres. I'd always sang and played the blues privately, but had never ventured to the crossroads or drank that muddy water. After the birth of my daughter I finally I made the leap and began performing the blues and have never looked back.
Nowadays I'm not promoting any live appearances and not marketing any recordings, downloads, or music notations. I play by ear and do not use or have music or tabs. These recordings were live, meaning I played the guitar and sang simultaneously except for a few that were multi-tracked.

Recently, my lovely daughter has joined my musical endeavors much to the chagrin of her Papa. Husbands are stubborn sometimes.
Influences: Countless bands and individuals have forged their way into my life and "musical soul". It's the aggregate that allows me to pull from many musical realms to form my musical psyche. Essentially I grew up with a real wide musical taste, and then of course came The Allman Brothers, and that changed my life. They became and still are my favorite band of all time.
Sounds Like: Train Whistles, Cotton Fields and Whippoorwills
