Evelina is Eveliene van Vroonhoven, born on september 8th, 1976 in Amsterdam, Holland.
At a young age she started studying music and played the flute and sax for many years. It was in early 1997 she decided to be activly involved in the electronical music scene and she became a dj. From those dates upto now her main focus was the psy-trance-scene, but she also played progressive sounds, chill-out, reggae, world-music, breaks and some house. Her desire to produce her own tunes was strong and after spending 10 years of travelling the world, she decided to find a base (which is Italy) and since 3 years now she has been producing her own sound by the name: Akbal (www.myspace.com/djaneakbal). So far mostly a mix of psy and progressive, always in the company of story-telling melodies.
Now she decided to put her focus more on the mainstream-audience and share her intense emotions through her music with you!!
