Formed in the end of 2004 when Veli got an idea of band after doing some experimental studio work himself. He dredged up some musicians he knew from his high school times and started the party. After countless hours of rehearsing, several gigs and demos and dropping off some of the original members all the pieces seemed to fit.Since March 2008 Poets have done hard work to push things forward. The personal sound of Dead Poets Society consists of rhythmically rich and wild band playing and Veli's powerfully expressed vocal parts. Add there some dreamy electro-influenced keyboard sounds and You'll get fresh, innovative, bittersweet rock music from Finland.
