About Me

First I will thank God for giving me a great life and the opportunity to have two wonderful children. They are a true blessing from heaven and the most important persons (VIP) in my life.
Then thank YOU for spending time reading about me!
When it comes to who I am and what I have done and will do, I will try to write down some sentence about that. Sorry my norwegian English.
Ronny Andre Pedersen was born in Arendal/Norway october 1979. I grew up with both my lovely parents and my two fantastic brothers. My daddy was the first person who introduced me for music in general, but DRUMMING in special. After I had used/destoyed some of my mothers Kitchen "Kit", my dear father bought me my first Drumkit for Christmas, when I was 5 years old. During that period me and my family went to church every Sunday, and my parents have told me that I always took place next to the drummer on stage and was facinating and amazed! Thanks to my first Drummerhero, BÃ¥rd Andre Eide!
When I was at the age og 7 years, I started my almost ten year carrier in a local Music Corps, Arendal GutteMusikk Korps (AGMK). My first teacher there was Dag Tynes. He ment a lot to me during my time in AGMK, thanks!
From the age of 11 to 20 years, I played drums and percussion regulary with a worshipleader here in Arendal, Bjørn Aslaksen. Bjørn has been a rolemodel, friend and has aslo inspired me to keep up working hard to develop as drummer.
During my time at Music High School at Dahlske High School in Grimstad, I learnd a lot about music and developed my musical understanding. Thanks to wonderfull drumteachers as: Arve Nilsen, Stig Værnes, Kenneth Ekkornes and Kurt Lisø. They were my main teachers during that period.
After High School I went to the army in North Norway for one year. It was COLD!! There I just brought with me my drumsticks for keeping the fingers in some shape!
During the education at College in Oslo, I was lucky to hook up with Torstein Lofthus. I just love youre way of playing the drums. Thanks for a wonderfull session/lesson in the basement under Frognerparken.
During spring 2005 I moved back to my lovely hometown, Arendal. Arendal is a true pearl during summertime and is among many things, hosting two of the largest music festials in Norway every year, Canal Street Festival and Hovefestivalen.
Back home, I hooked up with some groovey musicians and started the Blues/Rock band Million Dollar together with my good friend Tomas Hill. Thanks to Tomas Fianbakken, Peter Haltorp and Thomas Isaksen for some energic gigs arround Norway. You are the best!!
Million Dollar had among many cool giggs, the honor of backing the USA Harmonica viritous Darrel Mansfield. At the time, Million Dollar is "on ice". Maybe we will reunite in future?
Now, I am playing the drums in several bands. Take a look at my site for futher information. I am also doing some session gigs now and then.
My fockus/drumphilosofi when it comes to playing music/the drums, is "keeping things simple and tasty". I just love to play music and keep up the groove with several funckyshit bassplayers/musicians: Peter Haltorp, Ole "Kelly" Kvamme, Geir Emanuelsen and Kristian VÃ¥gsnes. Thanks for giving me the chance to develop as musician/drummer.
Check out the Million Dollar tracks "one way ticket" and "One Mind" at my site. We recorded those songs (PreProductions) in Tomas Hill homestudio during Winter/Spring 2006-2007.
There is also a track, Cover preprod of "Down on the Corner", with Clutterbillies. Recorded in Clutterbillies Entertainment Studio at Tromøya/Arendal during winter 2008/2009.
