Nestled in a hillside overlooking downtown, the lounge features critically-acclaimed cuisine, sleek decor, lots of cozy indoor seating, poolside cabanas, an outdoor firepit, and great views of the LA skyline. The pool is heated and we have lots of towels ;)
Fine is hosted by Rick Thompson and Jonathan Keith, partners in the multimedia production and marketing firm Stoke Productions, and pioneers of the Midwest electronic music scene.
Rick Thompson began his career at the U.S. Capitol Building as an Advance Staffer for the presidential campaigns of Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Dick Gephardt, Paul Tsongas, and others. He was a Press Emissary for Nelson Mandela and the former Press Secretary for the Indiana Secretary of State Office. A lifelong fan of electronic music, Rick parlayed his experience organizing massive political events into SIN Productions, a company that staged concerts and festivals in the early 90s during the nascent days of the underground club scene. Richie Hawtin, Josh Wink, Dieselboy, Micro, and Chris Fortier are only a few of the literally hundreds of DJs that performed at SIN events. Today, Rick oversees internet marketing for Stoke and is a successful web designer. He has also produced two feature films.
Jonathan Keith is a former radio and television personality from Indianapolis where he was also a club DJ and event promoter. He was a reporting DJ on the prestigious Billboard Magazine dance panel from 94-04. Jonathan is perhaps best known as the host and producer of "Planet X," a nationally syndicated radio show specializing in electronic and alternative dance music (Clear Channel). He has done countless on-air interviews with a who's-who of innovative artists: Moby, The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Peaches, Underworld, Gorillaz, Jurassic 5, The Crystal Method, Basement Jaxx and many more. As a club promoter he welcomed top DJs like DJ Dan, Bad Boy Bill, Donald Glaude, and Sandra Collins to his weekly new millennial "SPACE" party, which Christopher Lawrence called "the best-kept secret in America." Jonathan was also the head of marketing for the Indianapolis date on Sasha & Digweed's "Delta Heavy" tour.
