Well Hi There, Everybody!I am a self-taught, professional Makeup Artist. I am currently being wonderfully mentored by my friend and teacher, Mr. Brad Look, an Emmy winning makeup artist. Mr. Look won the Emmy for his outstanding work Star Trek: Voyager. I have been gaining knowledge and acquiring great skills & techniques from Mr. Look for a year and half and continue to learn from him on a regular basis!Before benefiting from Mr. Looks mentoring, I taught myself the art of special effects and beauty makeup over a period of 4 years through good, old-fashioned, raw experience. I worked on numerous independent feature films, short films, photo shoots, fashion shows & major dance competitions such as "Carnival." All the while, working as a key artist & theme day coordinator at MAC Cosmetics and attending CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY NORTHRIDGE. I studied Film Production with an emphasis on Cinematography.I am currently working on gaining my days to join as a member of the makeup artist union, Local 706.I love what I do, am an amazingly passionate and determined person and look forward to a rewarding future in the attainment of my ultimate dream as an artist!
