Fighters For a Cure

My name is Danyelle and I am team captian for 'Fighters for a cure'. a team in the american cancer society's Relay for Life. I know times are tough right now in our economy, so we figure if we cant raise the funds we want, maybe we can raise awareness. So thats what we as a team plan to do. This site will not only make you aware of the facts, but let you know when we are planning an event.I started participating in the relay for live and ACS CAN when my dad was diagnosed with Prostate cancer. Now he is in remission and this past relay was the first one he walked in. This is something that has become very close to my heart. I hope that all who are afflicted get the help they need, and I admire all those who have won their fight against cancer, and pray for everyone to never have to know what its like to lose someone if they havent already.
