Love watching South Park, Beavis and Butthead, Scrubs, old X-Files re-runs, X-Play on G4, Entourage, the Simpson, watching poker on ESPN, indie animation like Don Hertzfield and lately I've become hopelessly and stupidly addicted to that stupid Rock of Love II show on VH1... I know, I know...
Books:
Just finished Michael Crichton's State Of Fear, couldn't put it down, GREAT BOOK! I'm 2/3 of the way through Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy, but I'm taking a break for a bit... currently I just started reading a book based on a theory that there are hidden codes in some of Shakespear's play... Overall Michael Crichton books usually keep me interested, the LOTR books are really good and so is Glenn Beck's "An Inconvenient Book" also I love Shakespear his plays and sonnets, if you can get past the old English the man was the best story teller of all time. I also like classic poetry like Wordsworth as well as some more modern type stuff like Robert Frost. But poetry hasn't really been that good for some time now and I pretty much blame Jay-Z for that. For my geeky side, I love what Garth Ennis has done with the Punisher, I also loved reading Darkhawk/Quanutm and Woody before they got canned and I love the old Valiant comic universe from the 90's... oh yeah and the Bible (duh)
