About Me

Hi everyone , welcome to the home page of SEMI-MENTAL, who we ? we are a 4 piece rock covers band based in Cardiff. We cover bands such as Stereophonics, Greenday, Oasis, Snow patrol, AC/DC, The Jam , Kings of leon and many more. Our aim has and is to play these songs to the best of our ability, we love playing live , its wot we work for, we rehearse, practice, jam, call it wot u want every sunday and a couple of us also get together during the week and play new songs at open mic nites, its great fun and it brings us closer together as a band, were not just 4 people that get 2gether were friends, and we also go out for beerz etc, ok then we are as follows in no particular order, MIKE (MICKY 2 PHONES) LEAD GUITAR, VOCALS AND BASS. GABBY (THE LOST BOY) RHYTHM GUITAR, VOCALS. OLLIE( MAGPIE) BASS GUITAR, LEAD GUITAR, VOCALS. ANNEKA (ANI, IM A BLOKE REALLY) DRUMS, PERCUSSION, VOCALS,What we offer x 2 sets approx 1 hour each, we start at a time that suits the venue, were fun and we encourage audience participation.Gear= we have all our own gear , a powerfull PA system 500 watts output per channel (new) lighting etc.We will play anywhere in the uk, call for details.Band Philosophy, to be a member of a band u have to work together on a regular basis, you have to practice and play together, as familiarity is the key. et/al (Bono u2)We would like to thank, TONY MORLEY , for his encouragement and support, ANNA MCcullagh, for the posters, sorry for writing on them ann, didnt have myspace up and running at time of printing.
