A native of Belle Glade , Florida , TJ was born into a family of musicians. He started playing drums at a very early age of three. He attended Florida A&M University to further his education and was a member of all the university bands and now is a student at the Atlanta Institute of Music. He has also taken the role as a clinician, holding sessions across the southeast region of the nation.
