As one of London's longest serving dance DJs, Dominics' career began at the legendary "Shoom" club night in 1988. His residencies at The Wags' "Love", "Knowledge" at The Brain Club, The Limelight, and Sean Mcluskys' "Merry England" led to more nation-wide acclaim, seeing Dominic also regularly guesting at The Ministry of Sound, Club UK, Release The Pressure, Sabresonic, The Cross, Milk and 2 Sugars, The Gardening Club, Leisure Lounge, and Mass in London, Shindig in Newcastle, FUBAR, Burger Queen, Trench, The Vaults and the Honeycomb in Scotland, Rise in Sheffield, The Music Factory in Leeds, The Zap and Escape Clubs in Brighton, The Manor in Bournemouth, Sugar Sweet in Belfast and numerous other one nighters and venues across the country.
His foreign escapades behind the decks have included Pacha (Ibiza, Portugal and Buenos Aires), Space and Cafe Mambo in Ibiza, Decadance in Greece, Mach 1 in Nuremberg, Sketch Pad in Los Angeles, Ribabbia in Sicily, Hour Power at the Escape in Amsterdam, and BCM in Mallorca.
Dominics' style could be described as eclectic, touching on all aspects of house within a set. Pumping, Tribal House. Jazz flavoured grooves all vying for attention with the most danceable Tech House around. Cutting edge? Upfront? Certainly. With over fifteen years experience behind the decks rest assured that Dominics' sets ooze quality, and you can guarantee that he'll "rock the show".
No stranger to the world of broadcasting, Dominic has presented his own weekly show on JIVE FM (a pirate station broadcasting to West London), DFM (a legal station in Brighton), has guested on Girls FM, and was a regular guest on Judge Jules' "Judge and The Jury" on Kiss 100. Dominic has also syndicated mixes to the Ministry of Sounds' radio show in Japan on J Wave Radio, the country's leading dance station.
Dominic also runs two labels: Soul Brother; an outlet for 'old fashioned, good house', and Tronik, which releases slightly darker, more twisted Tech House. As well as regularly recording for Low Pressings, Touchdown, and Slip 'n' Slide. Many of his productions are praised and played by some of the worlds most famous DJs like David Morales, Pete Heller, Danny Tenaglia, Jon Digweed and Danny Rampling. Recently, Dominic has also been involved with Konami, one of the worlds largest games developers, producing music for 'Beatmania', a DJ oriented Playstation game.
Renowned for his technical prowess behind the turntables, Dominic was chosen by electronics giant Pioneer to demonstrate their industry standard CD turntable, the CDJ500, and the pro mixer to accompany, the DJM500 in London and Paris, three years in a row.
Dominic has an in-depth knowledge of the fast moving dance music business, having worked at Bluebird Records, Unit Two, and the infamous Quaff Records, all in London's vibrant Soho. More recently, Dominic spent three years at Vinyl Addiction in Camden setting up their website. A regular contributor to '7' Magazine Mixmag Update, as well as the Ministry of Sounds' style bible "Ministry", providing record reviews in his own inimitable style.
