About Me

I was told once that nothing, no story, ever really ends with a Happily Ever After. Cinderella got her prince, but her stepsisters had their eyes picked out by birds and the toes and the heels of their feet cut off. Sleeping Beauty woke up only because she as molested by a stalker. Snow White was brought back from the dead by seven pedophiliac dwarves and a mother with a god complex. While Repunzel looks like a chemotherapy patient with a kid on her hip and a husband who's blind as a bat. Goldilocks gets eaten. Red Riding hood gets rabies. And the little mermaid gets shot by a harpoon so that some fisherman named Pete can pose with the body and brag to his friends about what a huge catch he had last friday. This is how hallmark Disney stories end. I’m not just making it up. Ok, maybe that last one was a lie, but the rest are true-blue Grims brothers originals. That’s how I knew…that’s how I realized that nothing and no one is allowed a happily ever after. No fairytale ends well. I knew that, but I suppose somewhere in my heart I didn’t believe it. But the war has come, demons have risen, I have a few old acquaintances looking for me…and Gabriale…Gabriale is dead and I’m the one who killed her.....

First two pages of Angel of Death (The sequel to Keeper of Souls)

Prologue: "Sinclair?" "&What?" I bit my lip as I regarded him across the length of the small table where we were sitting in the castle gardens. The breeze caressed my face and neck and I took in a de...
