About Me

I have a thing about doors. I find them fascinating. I like pictures of doors, especially mysterious looking ones, like ones set into an ancient looking wall with a forest behind it. Or really old looking doors on gothic buildings. Oxford is a good place to see interesting doors. I like books and stories which involve doors somehow. The best short story I ever read was called The Theatre and it involved a forbidden door. I won't go into it but it was really good but I can't remember who wrote it so if anyone knows please drop me a line. It is possible that you are reading this and imagining me to be the most boring person on earth. Please allow me to assure you that I'm not. I do have other interests besides doors but you can read all that stuff in the section on the left if you are so inclined. However, suppose I shold tell you a few more things about myself. Ok; I like brightly coloured clothing and the more neon colous my outfit contains, the happier I am. Occasionally, I wear all black to appear a bit mysterious, but really I am not mysterious at all. I loath the Blockbuster video franchise with a deep-rooted passion. I think I am fairly self aware. I should work harder. I have recently been considering dying my hair ginger again. It maddens me when all the sandwiches in a shop have mayonaise on them. Or when my burger comes with mayonaise but it wasn't stated on the menu. Or when you remember to check and ask for no mayo on your burger but the cheerful chaps in the kitchen add a helpful dollop anyway. I am fairly laid back but become incensed when people take forever at the cash point - what are they doing? Just get your money out and go. I just had my phone nicked AGAIN and consider it to be one of life's great inconveniences. I wish people would learn the difference between 'their', 'there' and 'they're'. And 'your' and 'you're'. I'm studying philosophy at uni and loving it. I don't believe that everything happens for a reason and am slightly wary of people who believe their horoscopes.

My Interests

Hummmm, music, going to gigs etc etc. Also dancing (street and hip hop). And singing la la la. I also enjoy: dipping my finger in melted wax and making wax fingerprints, giving people advice, drinking fizzy drinks out of paper cups, watching documentaries about under the sea, guys with Scouse accents, eating raw mixture, logic puzzles, calling in sick to work, going on rollercoasters, soft shell crab, being right, reading in the garden, philosophical debate, staying in my pajamas all day on Sundays, watching horror films with people who get scared and mocking them while secretly being scared myself, not going to the gym.
