The gospel world has produced many great choirs with a diversity of style and renditions. There are choirs with innovative and creative arrangements and in the midst of this historical transition emerges “The Voices of Inspiration Community Choirâ€. A chorale whose trademark is that “they sing with the anointing.†The Voices of Inspiration was founded by Professor Ronnie Felder. The choir was organized on September 15, 1989 by Professor Felder and Ronald Banks. The Voices of Inspiration Community Choir is comprised of 37 voices striving for musical excellence and dedicated to spreading the gospel through song. Many of the choir members and musicians have sung and performed with great gospel artists and groups such as the late Reverend James Cleveland, Bishop Albert Jamison, Bishop Richard “Mr. Clean†White, Elder Timothy Wright, Hezekiah Walker, Minister Keith Pringle, Douglas Miller, Tri-Boro Mass Choir, Hempstead Community Choir and the New Jersey Mass Choir. The choir has travel to various cities across the United States. The Voices of Inspiration have been bless to minister in song for various productions, such as The Ray of Lights, Cipriani’s on Wall St., the Madame C. Walker Theatre in Indianapolis, IN, and The Bobby Jones Gospel Show B.E.T., among many others. In 2003 The Voices of Inspiration Community Choir were the recipients of the Community Choir of the Year Gospel Awards. On August 6, 2002 the Voices of Inspiration Community Choir was blessed to release their first CD, “Just Been So Good†Live in Brooklyn, NYâ€, on Juanna Praise Record Label. The choir recorded their sophomore CD on Saturday October 19, 2007, to be released in the Spring of 2009. No discussion of the Voices of Inspiration Community Choir can conclude without reference to their talented and dynamic, Professor Ronnie E. Felder. Professor Felder is the founder, director and musical guiding light of the choir. He is principally responsible for the unique and original designs of the choir’s robes.
