Got into Fashion by accident. After finishing school in the 1990s there was absolutely nothing in the shops that I liked, so I started cutting up 1960s curtains and bedspreads to fashion into something resembling clothes. Except they didn't..
Did all the formal education stuff. Was on a bit of a roll, so I moved to London for 5 years and got a degree in Menswear. While I was there I apprenticed as a tailor down Savile Row. Ended up making fake military uniforms for members of the Royal Family for those parades they go on, so they can pretend they're real soldiers. Other bits and pieces too, but not under my name, so can't take any credit.
Moved to Manchester a year ago and set up on my own.
Currently saving up for a shop. All the work is done from my flat / workshop which suits me perfectly.
There's permanently a modernist soundtrack booming out from the flat while I work.
Makes me feel a bit like each suit leaves with it's own soul.
