About Me

Veterans For Obama
Vets for Obama is a group of combat and non-combat, currently and formerly serving service men and women who support Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States.
We believe that Barack Obama is the right choice for our veterans -- for our soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen -- and for all of those, from all walks of life, who are serving their country. Our ranks include all veterans of all recent wars, including those who are currently serving their nation in Iraq and Afghanistan. All branches are represented: the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines, the Merchant Marines and Coast Guard, as well as widows and children of those who have served and paid the last full measure of devotion to their nation.
Veterans have needs, but they also have concerns. Barack Obama understands those needs, as much as he has committed himself to understanding our concerns. To caring for those who have borne the battle, and for their widows and children -- and to address the causes, conduct and consequences of war. We believe also that service is an obligation of citizenship, whether that service takes place in uniform or not. Barack Obama has committed himself to a lifetime of public service and is a living symbol of our nation's highest values. That is why we veterans support him in his candidacy for the presidency.
