BORN IN NEW YORK CITY, DRUMMER/COMPOSER/PROGRAMER, JOHN B. ARNOLD HAS BEEN PERFORMING AS A LEADER AND A SIDEMAN FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS. HIS PLAYING STYLE FOLLOWS THE JAZZ AND POP MUSIC OF THE 70's AS WELL AS THE TRADITION OF NEW ORLEANS. HIS PLAYING STYLE IS ESSENTIAL WITH A MARKED CUT AND DRIED DEFINITION.
SINCE 1996 HE HAS RELEASED THREE CD's UNDER HIS NAME WITH A FOURTH FOR CNI INTERNATIONAL AND HIS LATEST "DEMENTIA" FOR RELEASE IN WINTER 2008. HE HAS TRAVELLED EUROPE AND THE UNITED STATES EXTENSIVELY ALSO LIVING ROME AND BERLIN FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD. HE IS A COMPOSER AS WELL AND LEARNED GREATLY FROM HIS GRANDFATHER THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGWRITER HOAGY CARMICHAEL. (Georgia, Stardust, Nearness of you, etc...)
