Un tuffo nel passato, un chiaro riferimento agli anni d’oro che furono per il Reggae vivaio di grandi successi. Il singolo Babylon is falling (totalmente in chiave reggae steppers) è un inno alla risoluzione e all’ allontanamento dalle grinfie di Babilonia.
Nella piu squisita tradizione Lee Perryana, Rankin’ Alpha rende giustizia a questo illustre padre del reggae nella cover “Trow Some Water in”, mitico brano prodotto e cantato, per l’ appunto, da Lee Perry al leggendario Black Ark Studio.
La produzione a più mani, che vede Rankin’ Alpha performers e compositore, è affidata a B-Dub, fucina Dub all’ interno di Cucca & Racha rec.
Il singolo va ad anticipare l’ uscita dell’ album omonimo “Babylon is falling” (in previsione per l’ autunno) , lavoro completamente cantato e incentrato sul reggae, roots rock, classico, con testi del chitarrista Ras Marcus, co prodotto con B-Dub.

A dive in the past, a clear inspiration to the golden years wich were, for Reggae, forge of great successes. The single Babylon is falling (totally reggae steppers style) it is a hymn to the resolution and to the escape from the claws of Babylon.
In the most delicious Lee Perry tradition , Rankin ' Alpha makes justice to this illustrious father of the reggae in the cover “Trow Some Water in”, mythical tune produced and sung from Lee Perry himselfe in the legendary Black Ark Studio.
This co/production, that see Rankin ' Alpha as performers and composer, is submitted to B-Dub, Dubforge of Cucca & Racha rec. This 7' goes to anticipate the release of the homonym album “Babylon is falling” (out in autumn), work completely sung and based on the classical, reggae- roots rock style, with texts of the guitarist Ras Marcus, co produced with B-Dub.

Il Pistoiese Raffaele Ferro aka Rankin' Alpha è l'anima di Dubital, formazione (o meglio laboratorio progettuale) fra le più longeve ed interessanti del panorama Dub italiano.
Batterista di vari gruppi reggae toscani (come la Dubwise Gang , già backing band per Jaka e Bomba Bomba) vocalista e polistrumentista, Rankin' Alpha è noto soprattutto per la sua più che decennale partecipazione, come MC, alle vicende del Dub nostrano ( Alambic Conspiracy, B R Stylers, The Dub Sync..) e per le sue collaborazioni con dub masters di livello internazionale come gli inglesi Mad Professor e Neil Perch (aka Zion Train).

The Pistoiese Raffaele Ferro aka Rankin' Alpha is the soul of Dubital, formation (since ’92 dub projects laboratory) between most long-lived and interesting of the Italian Dub scene. Drummer of several reggae groups from Tuscany (like the Dubwise Gang, already backing band for Jaka, Bomba Bomba, Jimi Vistoli) vocalist and polinstrumentist, Rankin' Alpha is famous above all for its more than decennial participation, as MC, to the vicissitudes of the Italian Dub (Alambic Conspiracy, Africa Unite, B R Stylers, The Dub Sync.) and for its collaborations with dub masters of international level like Mad Professor and Neil Perch (aka Zion Train, Abassi All Stars).
