Am I a band? Oh, well the band was formed back in 1965 somewhere in Colorado. I am actually an individual who has bucked the system and entered myself as a band because I wanted to upload songs and feature them. I am only here for the music. The bio goes as follows
Mickey Carson has played bass since he was 16 when all his friends formed a band and the only instrument they didn't have was a bass. He took his newspaper money and bought a Hondo bass and a Peavey TKO amp. That began 27 years of low frequency mayhem. Over the years, Mickey has performed with bands such as The Amazing Hypnophones, Blue Tail Fly, The Cat Daddys, DC and The Capitols, And the Denton County All Stars to name a few. Having acquired the stage moniker "Two Fitty" some time back, Mickey is now the Bass player for Christian Brooks and the host band for the Prairie House Jam - a famous jam in Denton. He is also a sound and video technician specializing in corporate events - ha! day jobs...
Well, there you have it. The songs on this site were written by me and performed either by me or by the bands that I was in at the time. Click on lyrics to get info on the bands and the performers. All the pictures on the page were taken by Debra-D, my wife and eminent photographer. She's great. I am working on getting new music into the digital realm and looking for members for my new original band, Bob Doppler and the Circadian Rhythms. Look out for that wacky section to come blaring out of the broken glass soon. If you wanna play - emule me.
