About Me

I was born in Pennsylvania and moved up and down the East coast until my family settled here in the First State like the Sweedes of old. What I hated Delaware for when I was young, I find myself yearning to live here for just those reasons. Although I'd be content living and growing old in "Slower Lower," I have a huge desire to travel across the country and the globe. I want to see the sun set over the ocean, and not rise. I want to see the crater that evidently ended the lives of many enormous dinosaurs. I want to see the houses that Ruth and Jordan built. My passion for history has me yearning to see the alamo, follow the underground railroad, and take my first flight across the Atlantic to see the battle grounds of WWII and visit the city where streets are made up of water. I'm huge on manners. "Thank you" and "Please" can go a far way in society. Recently I've been intrigued by the thought of God and Jesus. What do I believe? I believe there is a God, Jesus, and Lucifer. My B.A. in History from the University of Delaware (GO HENS!!!) helps me doubt the true accuracy of the Bible. I have accepted Jesus as my savior but other religions still intrigue me, specifically the aspects that all religions have in common. I have learned the value of friendship, and that the only thing certain about relationships is the uncertainty that comes with them. I love to say the things that other people are too scared to say. Sports are a great way to build character. You learn how to work in the clutch, grow leadership skills, and work within the concept of a team. I grew up around the game of basketball, and besides my sister my favorite player of all-time is Micheal Jordan and thus favorite team the Chicago Bulls. I was a pennent picker at the age of 7, following the Bash Brothers of the Oakland A's and the sweet connection of Montana to Rice. I continue to follow each team in what is starting to feel like a consistent let down of coming up short or just falling to pieces.
I have an extremely bright, beautiful, funny as hell, and caring girlfriend that I absolutely love with all my heart. She is the reason for my good days and the reason I get through my bad days.
I also have the coolest three year old known to man. His obsessions lay with cars, trains (railroads to him), and movies. He's an Eagles fan, not his fault, and a future racecar driver or CAT operator.
