Heres how the story begun..............Empress Sharon has been in the music business for some years, from Manager, promotions to programming the Uk Reggae Top Ten Chart for Diverse FM 102.8, as a massive reggae fanatic she has worked and met some of the greatest reggae artists/producers to ever come out of Jamaica, from the 60’s to date.
In 2005/2006 Sharon "Daddy D" Wilson along with her DJ Lady Diamond went to Jamaica, there they stayed for 6 months making Friends and working with most of the Dancehall artists, Such as Beenie Man, Turbulance, Kartel, Bounty Killa, Capleton, Munga, Anthony B, Daville, Elephant Man , Delly Ranks, Shaggy, Buju Banton, Mr Vegas even some of the old greats, Daddy U Roy, Ken Booth, Lone Ranger, Ranking Trevor and the Mighty Diamonds.The story continues...............Upon her return to the UK, Sharon still proceeded and still works with Daddy D and Lady Diamond on both Jamrock Radio and Diverse FM 102.8. Producing shows as well as the UK Reggae Top Ten, then in early 2008 Sharon "Daddy D" Wilson became DJ EMPRESS SHARON playing all ranges of Reggae Music from SKA, Steppers, Roots & Culture, Lovers to Dancehall to date you can find DJ EMPRESS SHARON spinning the decks on the following Stations and websites :Jamrock Radio www.jamrockradio.comSaturdays 2-4pm (gmt)
