BIO
Right let's see, I'm Craig Reynolds, I'm 21 and I like to play drums for myself and other people. A lot.
I've been playing since I was around 10 years old, been taught by a number of prestigious drummers, and played all over the world.
I set up this myspace to allow people to contact me regarding lessons, session work, drum-teching and everything in-between.
I'm currently based in near Goring, just outside Reading, UK.
QUALIFICATIONS + BACKGROUND
I studied for four years at the prestigious Academy Of Contemporary Music, acheiving both an HND (PDA) in Music Performance and Business, and a BA(HONS) Degree in Contemporary Music.
Whilst studying my degree I also began teaching and carrying out session work for friends and strangers alike. My musical exploits have since taken me all over the UK, Europe and Asia.
I've also worked for well known childrens music educators 'SCAMPS' teaching in primary schools in the south.My main project at the moment is playing in the UK Rock/Metal band Viatrophy, who are signed in the UK to Siege of Amida Records, with distribution through Ferret Records in the US. We regularly play all over the country and in mainland Europe, and our second CD is set to be released in January 2009.
TEACHING
In addition to this I also teach drums at a professional level and a competitive rate.
Lessons will be tailored to suit you, and beginners are welcome. I have experience in teaching students from aged seven to the mid-forties, but younger and older students are more than welcome of course!
Lessons will cover all major aspects of technique, performance and theory, as well as 'musical etiquette' learnt from the road. I've made the mistakes so you don't!
If you don't want to learn to sight read we don't have to, but I am fully capable to do so and it isn't as hard as you would think!
All major styles covered including: Rock, Pop, Metal, Funk, Latin, and anything you want to be able to play!

Lessons can be conducted at your place with whatever you may have, or at my residence on both a fully maple acoustic kit and a Roland TD-12 Electronic kit.
My rates are as follows:
30 mins: £12
60 mins: £20

SESSION + TOUR WORK
I am also available for any studio or touring work needed across the board, whether it be a one off studio session in hull or a tour of mexico! My main passion in music is live performance and I always strive to put on a good show. The fee will vary dependant on many factors, but drop me a line and we'll sort something out.
I have facilities to record drum tracks at home so we can work when it suits you to get the drum track you really want.
