About Me

Get active: More than a hundred US based and international organizations, including the Organic Consumers Association (OCA), Greenpeace, the Rainforest Action Network, and members of the United Nations, are calling for a moratorium on the more than eight billion dollars of annual government subsidies paid to large corporations producing biofuels from industrial-scale genetically engineered crops. For more information and to get active, go to www.organicconsumers.orgHey! for the past year or so, as I became more aware of the current environmental issues as well as ongoing political issues as Darfur, I became more interested in discovering what is it that could be done to change our community, or even influence the government to make a positive shift. My website is currently under construction, but it is created to educate people on whats going on in the world and give them options of what can each of us do to change it. If anyone has any suggestions or comments on the web or blogs please write! Check out myspace.com/opposingview
