JAVIER CALVET BAS is ZAV Barcelona, 1977 SpainA musician since his childhood, he has progressively moved through classical to electronic music, begining into music composition. His almost obsessive curiousity has led to experimentation with many different instruments (violin, electric guitar, spanish guitar, didjeridoo, dejembe, darbuka, keyboards, throat singing,...), searching for the elusive essence of musical art. In
digital music, he began with the famous Commodore Amiga 4 separate sound chanels when he was 14 and has worked continuously in the analogical medium, playing bass in bossanova, nu-funk and rumba bands.He has been a working artist for over 15 years, drawing and painting under
the famous portraitist MartÃn GarcÃa Cros, especially oil painting.A proven modeller in 3D rendering - he uses CAD files to explore the possibilites
of artistic expression and future applications of IT in the visual media.His other passion is photography, where his love of nature and endless
curiosity motivate his creativity again.
