CONFUSED?! was a band from Renton, just south of Seattle, that was active from '90 to '94. We started off with a love of bands like Cream, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, The Sex Pistols, Metallica, AC/DC, etc, but always wanting to expand upon our influences. .......
What's posted on here right now is music from our first demo, and we did 3 demos over 4 years in all. By the time we recorded our 3rd and final demo we were quite a different band, with each member contributing to a much broader range of influences than when when we started, and that music will be posted soon as well. Hopefully including better sounding versions of some of these songs that're on here now. .......
The idea is to get a bit of each stage we developed to as a band over those 4 years and we hope people will enjoy the music as much as we enjoyed playing it..................8/30/08 Just added 3 "new" songs from OXYMORON to the profile and took 3 off from BOB. Songs will be rotated every now and then from all 3 demos, so if ya have a favorite, let me/us know and we'll work on it. At this time I (Daiv) don't have a copy of our second demo MOODSWING, but since Duffy still has all the masters, we'll be adding one or two of the songs from that when we get all the stuff digitized. So far all the demos only exist on tape ( remember folks, CDs weren't readily burnable for the general public until a couple years later). Thanks to Pat Stevens yet again for making a copy of OXYMORON in MP3 format that is as good as is possible from a cassette tape dating back at least 15 years!.....p.s. You'll notice that the songs from OXYMORON are a bit different in style and sound compared to the ones from BOB, which is a reflection of the direction we were moving towards at that time.
