From the darkest slopes of the Anglo-saxion lowlands , the ominous city of Eindhoven, hails GRAF. This 2-man project Consisting of Nomeg Gwai (Vocals,lyrics) and Herr Valtieri (Guitar,drums,programming and mixing) produce Tamrielic Black Metal, which is heavily inspired by the folklore and storylines of Bethesda’s Elders Scrolls series (I Arena,II Daggerfall,III Morrowind,IV Oblivion) of which the members are both devoted aficionados. GRAF have produced a number of songs with lyrics themed towards these series.“de toorn van Karstaag†(the wrath of Karstaag) deals with the encounter of the frost titan Karstaag, a malign entity in the bloodmoon saga of Morrowind. GRAF’s latest song is about the corprusarium, one of the most miserable places in Tamriel. This song, called “within the bowels of the corprusarium†was GRAF’s first experience with influences of Arabian music in their songs.
