About Me

Lisa has brought a fresh sound to many wonderful nightspots in Oklahoma City since she helped a downtown bistro begin an outdoor patio back in 2003. At the time OKC was just on the cusp of an ever-expanding downtown, and Lisa had written just a handful of songs that she had rarely shared. Well, growth and change are good. To see the growth of OKC over the last 5 years is exciting. And Lisa grew in her own right, finding a little more confidence in what she had to share. She's been tested & tried, but no one can steal the joy of just playing & making soulful music.

Over years of just travelin' and exploring the country, she's played a nice little list of venues. However, she is not going to bore you with them right now. You know she was once a vagabond.

In Spring 2007, Lisa released her second recording produced by local indie rocker Judson Layne. For much of '06 & '07, she traveled around the US, performing a musical show she wrote for a popular children's festival--"Thomas the Tank Engine." Currently, Lisa mentors children of the OKC community, teaches at a local high school, as well as teaches several guitar classes. Lisa also recently began a musical program in conjunction with OKC's Children's Hospital.

She's still figuring out how she's supposed to be using her gifts to better the world, or at least one person; she also realizes that if you've read this far you must see that she is writing about herself in third person, which may be rather lame for a bio. *Ahem* That aside, every day that she's even given to ponder her life's work & meaning, that is considered a blessing. And, well, you can't waste too much time considering all of that. Ya kinda just have to get busy living.
