About Me


Sarah Moon has been singing since fourth grade. She traveled extensively with the Rapid City Children's Choir, member for seven years in which she had the opportunity to sing with Bobby McFerrin, the national anthem at a Chicago White Sox game in Chicago, the Today show and sing at Carnegie Hall in NYC. Other trips included Canada, San Antonio, Minnesota and Iowa. Her resume includes many auditioned choirs ACDA, All State Honor Choir, Concert Choir and Singers thru high school. Sang with Shania Twain in Rapid City, SD while still in high school. After high school she toured Europe then sat in with quite a few different bands, including Brother Otis, Soul Kitchen, The Russell Jackson Band (former BB King bassist) & Wired. Performed with Steven Bak as the duo Moon and Back. Once upon a time she opened for Bright Eyes. Was in the band Sixty Grit for two years. More recently she has been singing with Emerson Starship www.rickemerson.com and Julian's Ride and plays drums for Bettie Mayhem & The Disasters.
